Lead actor for LA Noire skips cut-scenes in games
Lead LA Noire actor Aaron Stanton has said he tends to skip cut-scenes in games. For shame.
Stanton, who voices lead character Cole Phelps in the Team Bondi-developed title, said in this month's issue of Game Informer:
"As far as open-world games, or anything with a story, in the past, I've usually skipped the cut-scenes to go into the gameplay. Which is a funny thing, but I'm just being honest."
However, the actor - who also appeared in Mad World - said you shouldn't skip the cut-scenes in Noire.
"[It's] about trying to enhance the experience and bring those two together into a singular experience, rather than two separate things, where you're playing, then you put the controller down and watch," he said.
He also revealed he's very much familiar with Rockstar's games, saying Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is his favourite title from the GTA series.
LA Noire is due for release this fall for PS3 and 360.
