Kudo: Star Wars Kinect out next Christmas, Forza Kinect reiterated for 2011
Kinect creative lead Kudo Tsunoda has told the BBC that the Star Wars Kinect title, coming from Ghostbusters devs Terminal Reality, will release next christmas.
"We have a Kinect Star Wars game coming out for next holiday [Christmas 2011]," he told NewsBeat.
"I think you could just easily imagine being a Jedi and using Kinect to make you feel you're part of a Star Wars experience, building yourself up into a Jedi.
"I've seen a bunch of the game and it's super compelling."
The title was unveiled at E3, but has since gone underground.
Tsunoda also reiterated that a Kinect version of Forza Motorsport is coming next year from Turn 10, although not much else was said on it.
"And another one next year is Forza, which is the best racing game of this generation of consoles... Those are the two games I'm most excited about."
Tsunoda told VG247 at the UK launch party for Kinect last night the tech for the motion camera has its origins dating back as far as ten years.
Kinect launches today in the UK following a US launch last week.
