Krillbite Studio puts the lovely Among the Sleep on Kickstarter
With 27 days to go, Among the Sleep has garnered $62,247 towards the $200,000 goal set by its developer Krillbite Studio.
The first-person title for PC and Mac was announced last year, and is played via the perspective of a two-year-old child, who after being put to bed one night, notices mysterious things starting to happen around the home.
Playing in the “borderland between dream and reality,” surreal creatures and “diverse environments will present you with both physical and mental obstacles that challenge your creativity.”
The team said it took to Kickstarter in order to finish production and the "tons of polishing and testing" left to do. The core game is already finished, but everyone at Krillbite still work part time jobs on the side during development, and in order to focus solely on the game, stay independent, and the money would allow the team to "quit our part-time jobs," to continue working "all hours of the day on finishing Among the Sleep."
The Kickstarter video for the title is below, and you can toss some money at the project through the link. The game is slated for a Q4 release.
