Konami ID user information accessed, Konami strengthens security measures

Konami has reported that 35,000 unauthorised log-ins attempts to the Konami ID portal have occurred due to Pro Evo user ID and passwords being leaked. The firm said nearly four million attempts were made by a third-party user. The names, addresses, dates of birth, telephone numbers and email addresses were accessed, therefore all Konami ID users will need to change their passwords. All those affected should have received an email on the matter. Konami has since strengthened security and raised the monitoring level. Thanks, Eurogamer.
