Konami no longer trading in New York Stock Exchange
Konami has voluntarily delisted itself from the New York Stock Exchange.
Konami has announced today in a press release that it has delisted itself from the NYSE stock market, effective April 24.
The press release [download] says the publisher has terminated its reporting obligations, but will nonetheless continue to publish financial statements in English. The publisher's shares will still be traded in the over-the-counter market in the US.
Konami still maintains its listings on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange.
This comes after this morning's announcement of the cancellation of Silent Hills, which is believed to be the result of a fallout the firm has had with Hideo Kojima.
Thanks, Gunrun.
