Konami cancels IDs for westerners trying to get on Japanese MGO beta

Konami has started sending out emails to westerners who obtained Japanese Kohami IDs with a view to getting on the Japanese Metal Gear Online beta cancelling their successful subscription.
"We would recommend that you obtain a KONAMI ID for the region you live in provided that the public beta test is open to you," the note says.
The European beta will be made available for download tomorrow, and has already been released in the US. Play itself will run from April 21 to May 6.
