The newest Hero's Guide to Amalur is no substitute for a Lonely Planet, and it looks like you might need one wandering the huge open world.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning launches on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next week, and has recently been the centre of some controversyover its buggy demo and online pass.
