The King of Fighters 15 is officially in development
It's been a big weekend for fighting games at Evo 19, and this latest announcement could well be a preview of what to expect at Evo 20.
The classic SNK fighting series is officially coming back for a fifteenth installment, as announced during Evo 19. The game is in development now, and...that's all we know, actually. No footage was shown, no systems announced, nothing about what the game will look like or how it will be different (or not, as the case might be).
King of Fighters 14 launched back in 2016, and received a big visual upgrade in January 2017. A few months later it came to Steam. It reviewed well, and the series has been quiet since.
There's no further news on the game, at least for now, beyond the fact that it's being worked on. We'll follow up once we know more.
