Kindle Fire HD announced by Amazon, comes with Whispersync for games

Kindle Fire HD has been announced by Amazon.
The new tablet contains:
- 8.9-inch display
- 1920X1200 resolution
- a sharper screen
- less glare
- dual stereo speakers
- Dolby
- two Wi-Fi antennas
- OMAP 4 processor from TI
- 5 GHz Wi-Fi
- storage options starting at 16 GB
- Whispersync for games - never start over, stores unlocked levels
- Skype app
- X-Ray for movies you're watching which syncs with IMDB
- New email app with Exchange support
- Sync calendars and contacts with Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail
- FreeTime parental controls
- HDMI out
The 8.9 inch model will run you $299 and you can buy it today for shipping on November 20.
The 7-inch will cost $199 and ships September 14.
A Kindle Fire HD with a 4G LTE data connection with 32 GB of storage will run you $499 and $50 annually for data with 250MB of data per month. It also ships on November 20.
