"Our adult video game franchises like Killzone have a core following of die-hard fans that are avid collectors of these high quality limited edition pieces," said SCEE’s European licensing manager David Evans.

"3A have a strong track record of producing high calibre collectibles that are must-have items for fans of the franchise and the launch of this figure further cements the cult status of the brand."

The first figure available will be a 31cm fully articulated Hazmat Trooper, complete with illuminating red eyes. That'll be available in Q3 and will set you back a handsome $160.

3A director Kim Fung Wong said of the deal, "We have long been admirers of the Killzone franchise, which has a massive global fanbase and we hope that the announcement of this new Killzone figurine will send ripples of excitement through the gaming community."

Thanks, MCV.
