Riptor expected to arrive for Killer Instinct on Xbox One next week

Riptor is coming to Killer Instinct on Xbox One next week with the 2.2 update, and Iron Galaxy has word that the dinosaur will look a bit different than what fans of the series are used to.

According to a blog post on the Killer Instinct forums, Riptor is no longer a human-raptor hybrid, but a Cybernetic Raptor. All of her moves from her previous intact save for the upperclaw attack which has been replaced with "clever girl", a nod to Jurassic Park.

Her full repertoire will be revealed on Monday along with her storyline and stage.

Killer Instinct's 2.2 update will also include some holiday-themed costumes for some of the fighters.

The Ultra Release will arrive on December 17 and the Combo Release is scheduled for December 23.
