Who says video games stifle kids' creativity (cough cough, the opposite is true)? One boy in Japan performed some awesome magic with cardboard, glue, and glitter to make an awesome replica of the Nintendo Switch.

OK, fine, he doesn't use glitter. But he should. Tons of it. It'd make his mother so happy.

Twitter user Ama-chan showed off her little brother's handiwork earlier this week; he built it because their mom won't buy the real deal. The cardboard Switch contains two Joy-Cons, a Joy-Con grip, a dock, and of course the Switch itself. Best of all, all the parts lock together very satisfactorily. You can practically hear that iconic Switch "snap," though that might be psychological.

There are arguments over whether Nintendo should've gone with Gorilla Glass for the Switch's screen over soft plastic, but now we have a third material to add into the debate: Cardboard. Its cheap, it's durable, but admittedly it makes even the brightest Mario games look perpetually brown. Hmm.
