Kickstarter: $202 million pledged to over 8,000 gaming projects in 2013

Kickstarter announced that during 2013, $202 million was pledged to a little over 8,000 gaming projects with $186 million collected by developers whose projects were successful. That's the extent of the gaming specifics figures, but in all, 3 million people pledged $480 million across all Kickstarter projects in 2013 - up from 2.2 million backers and $320 million pledged in 2012.
