Katashima takes head role at Koei outside Japan

Naoki Katashima has been appointed executive VP for Koei in the UK, France and the US. The appointment is part of an ongoing plan by the publisher to split operations between Japan and the rest of the world. Katashima will also be heading up Koei's global business division, focussed on America and Europe. He'll be based in the UK.

“This new mid-term plan is a very significant development for Koei. The plan demonstrates our renewed commitment to our western businesses and the importance with which KOEI views the markets outside of Japan,” said Katashima.
