Jurassic World Evolution: Secrets of Dr. Wu DLC adds Wu's hybrids, new hidden facilities
Jurassic World Evolution is due for a new patch and a big piece of DLC later this month.
Frontier has announced Secrets of Dr. Wu, a new story DLC for Jurassic World Evolution focusing on the eponymous Dr. Henry Wu. The add-on launches November 20 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
It'll introduce new campaign missions that will delve into Dr. Wu's obsession with creating hybrid dinosaurs. You'll be able to work alongside Dr. Wu to discover new dig sites and take control of two hidden research facilities on Isla Muerta, and Isla Tacano.
As is often the case with Dr. Wu's creations, we're moments away from disaster. The DLC includes three new Wu hybrids, the Stegoceratops, Ankylodocus, and Spinoraptor, as well as the Olorotitan, and Troodon for the general roster.
Actor BD Wong is voicing the character in Jurassic World Evolution, and you'll even be able to make use of the Indominus Rex’s camouflage gene - from the 2015 film - in the main campaign. Likewise, any upgrades and research options you get from playing it can also be transferred over the main campaign.
Alongside the new DLC, Jurassic World Evolution will be getting a new patch that'll introduce optional day/night cycle, new contracts, large-capacity feeders, and updated dinosaur grouping, and sleeping behaviour.
Secrets of Dr. Wu is priced $15/£13/€15, but you'll need to achieve a four-star rating on Isla Muerta to unlock the new missions. It'll be available November 20.
