Join the Retronauts Micro Team for a Classic Gaming Quizdown

On this episode of USgamer's classic gaming podcast, listen to the Retronauts put their retro game audio knowledge to the test.

Here at Retronauts, we live to educate the world about the wonders of classic games—something we've been doing for the past ten years or so. But recently, a pre-vacation time crunch caused me to veer away from the mission statement of our little podcast to produce something a little different.

That said, on this week's episode of Retronauts Micro, you might not learn much, but I guarantee this is a worthwhile little experiment. Back when I asked him to be on an upcoming episode of the show, Laser Time's Chris Antista came to me with the idea of hosting a classic gaming SFX quizdown in the middle of an otherwise normal episode. It didn't quite fit the show I asked him to be on, so I instead made it its own thing, and we managed to wring 20 minutes of largely unstructured fun out of the concept. We'll be back to our standard format next week—and we recorded a whole bunch of episodes about a month ago that I can't wait to shove into your ears. Enjoy!

Joining us on this one is Chris Antista, captain of the Laser Time Podcast Network, and Henry Gilbert, who now works for Wikia's Fandom group. And our cover art comes courtesy of Nick Daniel. As always, you can keep up with the latest Retronauts news via our Twitter and Facebook accounts, and check out some of our video content over on our YouTube page. And, in case you forgot, Retronauts is fully funded by our Patreon campaign, so if you can afford to donate even a dollar a month, please consider it! Every little bit really helps our cause.
