Japanese hardware charts - DS goes top as 360 receives Slim boost
Another week, another win in Japan for P... hold the phone. Best sit down for this.
DSi LL's new colour scheme has properly done the trick for Nintendo: sales of it rocketed, giving the handheld the top spot with 41,000 last week.
PSP followed in second with 23,000 while PS3 sold just under 20,000 in third.
Xbox 360 got a massive shot in the arm in sales last week in the country, selling 17,000 compared to just over 2,000 last week. You can thanks Slim's launch, price cutting to older models and the release of the Monster Hunter Frontier Online for that.
Bringing up the rear was PSPgo with sales of just 845.
