Japanese charts: 3DS sees sales double week-on-week

3DS has seen its sales double from last week in Japan, according to the latest charts released by Media-Create.

The handheld sold 46k compared to the 22k it sold the previous week. No doubt the sales bump is most likely due to the release of Starfox 64 3D. PSP was a distant second with 26k and PS3 in third with 23k.

Meanwhile, baseball game Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2011 made it to the top of the software charts for PS3, with the PSP version coming in fourth. Star Fox 64 3D finished sixth for 3DS.
