Jaffe: Twisted Metal in development for 18 months

David Jaffe has revealed that Twisted Metal has been in development by Eat, Sleep, Play for around 18 months.
Speaking via Twitter, the developer revealed to fans when asked: "Oh I'd say about 18 months."
Jaffe has long denied the game being in in development, in fact at one point he even said that he wouldn't be attending E3 at all.
Twisted Metal was announced at the end of Sony's E3 conference, and it's due for release, exclusively on PS3 in 2011.
