Is Battlefield Hardline the new Bad Company 2?

Battlefield Hardline is a lot like Bad Company and Bad Company 2 if you think about it.
Westie's latest video proposes an interesting idea. He compares the fan reaction to the first Bad Company game, how it was an off-shoot that nobody wanted, and now everybody keeps bringing up Bad Company 2 as one of the greatest Battlefield games.
So should we give Hardline a chance? Are we looking at it the wrong way?
