Irrational Games reveals Name In The Game winner
Irrational Games has announced the winner of its "Name in the Game" competition, which saw gamers from around the world submit their names in the hope it would be included in BioShock Infinite. The winner, as described by the company, is "perfect".
The company received more than a hundred thousand entries, far too many for the team to read. So, a "small", randomly-generated list of potential winners was plucked out by a computer, and the "perfect" name was found therein.
Congratulations, Payton Lane Easter!
Your name - which is stunningly fitting for a citizen of Columbia - has now been immortalised in the game. It seems you (and your sons) are now the proud owners of an empire creating Premium Automated Stallions.
That's Irrational artist Mike Swiderek's artwork there, and I hope Mr. Easter received a printed copy. Everybody else will just have to settle seeing it dotted around Columbia as you explore BioShock Infinite.
(Thanks, Joystiq, I can't believe they didn't pick you!)
