Insomniac: accessibility "most important", "part of the Ratchet DNA"
Insomniac's Shaun McCabe has said "accessibility" is a watchword of the four-player co-operative Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.
"The accessibility is one of the most important things," told the EU PS Blog.
"We don't want people to have to wait really for anything just to get in the game. We want people to get in as fast as possible.
"As far as the accessibility goes, that is part of the Ratchet DNA and Insomniac DNA, we want people to be able to play our games, and this one, I think, is accessible."
McCabe highlighted the game's drop-in, drop-out local and online co-op as an example, as well as the shift from player-controlled follow camera to a "director's" viewpoint.
"One of the really cool things that you get out of that - aside from the fact that you get some amazing visuals - is that people don't have to worry about … using the right stick for the camera," he explained.
"So even right there you get some amount of accessibility with that."
