Infinite possibilities for an Xbox Christmas

Whilst not confirmed, the not-so-subtle hints coming from Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg do indicate a very interesting Christmas for us all. Will both Sony and Microsoft be trying to muscle in on your holiday list?

Over on the Major Nelson podcast, the Microsoft exec had been talking of "surprises" coming ahead. Of key note to our ears, was the reference of "we have a lot to share between then and this holiday".

As many of us know, May 21st will bring the reveal of the next-gen Xbox and the teams behind it. We should all get a good look behind the scenes, as well as our first real view of a few key games coming to the next-gen platform. On top of that, Microsoft is aiming for a game-filled showcase on June 10th with their pre-E3 press conference. This could easily lead up to such an announcement of availability, and it would make perfect sense.

If both Sony and Microsoft release before Christmas, some of us are going to need something a lot larger than a simple stocking.
