If you live in one of these 31 countries you can now download Pokemon Go

If you've been itching to get your hands on Pokemon Go and live on the African continent, Madagascar, or the gorgeous nation of Sao Tome and Principe in the Gulf of Guinea, you're in luck.

Countries located off the West Coast of Africa, and those in the Indian Ocean such as the Seychelles Islands and Mauritius can also now download the app through iTunes and Google Play.

Niantic Labs announced today Pokemon Go was made available in 31 additional countries on the continent and its adjacent islands. Here's the list:

  • Burkina Faso
  • Cape Verde
  • Chad
  • Cote d’Ivoire
  • Egypt
  • Gabon
  • Gambia
  • Ghana
  • Guinea-Bissau
  • Kenya
  • Liberia
  • Madagascar
  • Malawi
  • Mauritania
  • Mauritius
  • Morocco
  • Mozambique
  • Namibia
  • Niger
  • Rwanda
  • Sao Tome and Principe
  • Seychelles
  • Sierra Leone
  • South Africa
  • Swaziland
  • Tanzania
  • Togo
  • Uganda
  • Zambia

While not as huge as it was at launch, Pokemon Go brings in close to $2 million per day, according to a new report.

That being said, the app still isn't available in many countries yet, such as China and South Korea, so figures should go up considerably once it launches in more and larger territories.
