id Software is hiring for its "next big thing"

id Software owner, Bethesda, has announced on its blog that the developer is looking to hire new staff in a variety of positions.
The quote reads "id Software has a well-storied past, and now you can be part of their future." An environment concept artist and design director are among the needed roles and you can head over to the link for more information.
Last we heard from id was that Doom 4 is still in development. Could this be the same project, or something else?
