Princess Zelda takes a methodical approach to battle in Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors is heading your way later in the year, and Tecmo Koei is slowing revealing how some of your favorite characters from The Legends of Zelda series will kick some series ass, Warriors-style. Today, we get a look at Princess Zelda who uses slower, more plotted attacks than what we've seen previously.

You've already seen an over 6-minute gameplay video of Link slicing his way through enemies on Hyrule Field with the Master Sword, and then once again here. The later contains clips from the previous video, but pulled the best bits out in case you don't have 6 minutes to spare.

Then there's the video of Princess Zelda’s bodyguard, Impa, and her massive sword pummeling the hoards who just stand there instead of running for their lives. Agitha has also been confirmed for the game, but as of press time, there isn't a video of her in action available.

An original playable character named Lana will also be in the game. Gematsu reports she is a witch who uses a magical book in battle, and creates barriers to thwart the enemy. Upon the barrier being broken, she can be damaged by the shock.

Midna has yet to be given her own trailer, but we did see her summoning the moon and using Link's hookshot in the 40-minute gameplay video we posted here. For a better look at just her, YouTuber Qaelios has pulled Midna's part out and posted it here.

Finally, below you will find a video of Link using the Fire Rod.

Hyrule Warriors is out on September 26 for Wii U.
