Hood: Outlaws and Legends character trailer introduces you to the Hunter
Hood: Outlaws and Legends has a new trailer out which introduces you to the playable character, the Hunter.
This new Hood: Outlaws and Legends video introduces in-depth gameplay of one of the four playable classes available at launch.
The Hunter is an elusive and mysterious character that uses quick takedowns, invisibility magic, and smoke grenades. The main weapon used is a modified arm-mounted crossbow, which can load up to three bolts at once and can be used at close and mid-range.
The Hunter’s ultimate ability is the Shroud, which covers the character in a near-invisible sheen making it completely undetectable by guards. This grants a unique advantage in infiltration, letting you reach the treasure vault with ease, or assassinating the enemy. When it comes to support, the Hunter’s smoke grenades can be used to prevent enemies from tagging teammates or to cover sightlines.
If you pre-order the game, you’ll get early access to it starting May 7, as well as the Forest Lords cosmetic pack for free. The Forest Lords pack includes a skin for each character and weapon in the game. The Year 1 Edition is also available for pre-order, giving access to Hood and three Battle Passes due to be released post-launch, after the initial free Season.
The third character gameplay trailer will be released next week.
Announced during The Game Awards 2020, the multiplayer PvPvE heist game from Sumo Digital is coming to last and new-gen consoles and PC this spring.
In it, you will be stealing treasure from a government ruling a dark and violent medieval world. Every game starts with two teams of four players, fighting each other and the State to find, steal, and return the riches unfairly taken from the people. There are four distinct characters with “thousands of variations," and every action has deadly consequences and life can be lost quickly.
The game releases on May 10.
