Homeworld HD collector's edition to include a 12-inch, hand-decorated spaceship model

Homeworld Remastered Collection, the remake that will contain both Homeworld and Homeworld 2, will include a 12-inch spaceship model in its collector's edition.

Developer Gearbox Software unveiled the model during its PAX East panel. Gearbox's Steve Gibson said that the collector's edition will be in limited supply and that the studio is spending "an irresponsible amount" of money on the ship and that they hope to break even on the model.

The model will be a 12-inch, hand decorated, moulded ABS resin Mothership with LED lights. It will include a stand and USB/AC power cable.

The collection, currently in the works at Gearbox Software, after acquiring the IP from THQ, will include both the Homeworld games remade with higher-res textures and models, new graphical effects, support for HD, UHD, and 4K resolutions and recreated cinematics.

According to the website, the collector's edition will also include other memorabilia such as an art book, game manual, key chain and codes for the remastered versions of Homeworld and Homeworld 2.
