IO Interactive has published the launch trailer for Hitman 3, and it's a stylish whistlestop tour of Agent 47's brave new World of Assassination.

Hitman 3 is due to launch on January 20 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox One X/S (as well as on Nintendo Switch, via the cloud) and to mark the arrival of launch week, we've got a brand new trailer to wrap our eyes around.

The new video shows off some of the locations in which you'll be conspiring to take down your targets (you can read more about those here) and sets the scene with atmospheric, stylish aplomb. Check it out below.

Ahead of Hitman 3’s launch, we spoke with IO Interactive to learn more about what the studio learned from operating a live service element all those years, its approach to zaniness in Hitman 3, and more besides.

The game is set to build on the stealth sandbox established in the first two games since the 2016 reboot, offering you the chance to be the Silent Assassin you've always wanted to be... or go about things in a much more brutal manner if you desire.

Alex was able to get an early hands-on with the game, and called it “a confident, iterative trilogy finale that looks as brilliant as its predecessors.”

We don't have much longer to wait until it's available for everyone, at least.
