Hideo Kojima's new studio will not exceed 100 staff
Hideo Kojima has been touring the world looking for game engines, and building his new studio in the process.
The Metal Gear creator wants a big studio, but not too big. "I'm aiming to keep the staff less than 100 people," Kojima said through a translator at a recent roundtable discussion, as reported by Game Reactor.
"I am searching for technology and at the same time hiring new people, and visiting the (...) studio to get inspiration about what kind of studio I want to make/create."
Comparatively, according Kojima, the Metal Gear Solid team had at one point over 200 staff members, and that a smaller size will help the creator "connect to the developers directly."
More recently, Kojima unveiled the full logo of his new studio. Although we're still not sure what game he'll be working on next, he revealed that it would appeal to Uncharted and The Division fans.
