Here's some footage of Goku Black, one of three Gokus in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ has a Goku for everyone.

Today's new Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer gives us a look at Goku Black, one of three versions of Goku found in the Dragon Ball FighterZ character roster as revealed so far.

If you're not au fait with Dragon Ball lore, Goku Black is sort of an evil or shadow version of Goku, the big ole hero of the series. Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this month. We know it will have at least 21 characters not including two unlockable "Blue" variants of Goku and Vegeta, with enhanced powers. Ignoring the Blue version there are two versions of Goku, as well as two versions of Gohan, two versions of Buu, and three Androids spread out across two characters (yes, it's confusing).

Dragon Ball FighterZ is gathering hype in the fighting game world, both because of the franchise's popularity and the talent of the team behind it. We'll be interested to see if it cracks the eSports scene, and how hard Bandai Namco pushes it given how recently Tekken 7 released.
