Here's some gameplay footage of Metal Gear Survive's opening mission taken from the beta

Since the Metal Gear Survive beta kicks off today, let's have a look at the opening mission.

The Metal Gear Survive beta is live for PLayStation 4 and Xbox One users, and the video you see below was taken from the opening mission, played on PS4.

In the gameplay footage, you'll see the customized hero running around the base with constructed defenses, fighting off waves of Tracker zombies and a Bomber. You'll also get a look at the weapon crafting table and a Wormhole Digger getting destroyed by enemies.

We recently went to play Metal Gear Survive, and if you like, you can check out our impressions of the co-op experience.
