"Helghast have some humanity left in them" in Killzone 3, says Guerrilla
Guerrilla Games boss Herman Hulst has told Gamepro that Killzone 3's Helghast are more then just orange-eyed evil f**k-heads. They still have a human side left in them.
"In Killzone 3, we show that even the Helghast have some humanity left in them," said Hulst.
"We're weaving a story that has more shades of gray than the trite representation of 'good vs. evil."
He also said how the Helghast were more superior to humans in terms of "society and culture".
"Although the Helghast are physically still human, they consider themselves superior to the human race in terms of society and culture," he said.
"They possess a mentality that's similar to how the Nazis viewed those not part of the Aryan bloodline. Helghast look down on humans as weak, lying, and spineless."
Bow before them, and all that. Killzone 3 releases next February for PS3.
