Hearthstone expansion The Grand Tournament launching next month
Hearthstone will grow by over 130 cards with the release of its second major expansion.
Hearthstone: The Grand Tournament launches in August, bringing 132 new cards to Blizzard's popular free-to-play battler.
The Grand Tournament card packs will be available for pre-purchase next week; you can grab 50 for $1 each, and thereby unlock a new card back.
The expansion is all about heroes duking it out, and as such, hero powers are at the forefront. There will be many new hero power cards as well as new minion ability, Inspire. Inspire minions have powers that trigger every time you use a hero power.
As we suspected, the expansion is themed around World of Warcraft's Argent Tournament. Many knights are involved, but as you'll see in the trailer below there's plenty of variety in the lists.
