Hearthstone bug gives your hero Taunt and a permanent stat boost
Make your Druid the bane of everyone else's existence while you still can.
YouTuber DIsguised Toast shows us just how easy it is to pull this one off.
The Whispers of the Old Gods expansion released this week, and as you might expect, a few bugs have accompanied its launch. This particular niggle sees the Druid using the Dark Wispers spell in the Wild format, resulting in a permanent increase of +5 Attack and +5 Health for your hero, and bestowing them with Taunt.
Before playing Dark Wispers, Disguised Toast plays new druid minion Staghelm, which allows you to combine the effects of any of the hero's Choose One cards. Dark Wispers should then summon five wisps and give a minion +5/ +5 and Taunt, but somehow, the buff is given to the Druid instead.
The card specifically says the effect is for a minion, but some of the comments on the video reference the weekly Tavern Brawl challenge mode that gave each hero the Taunt ability, so that explains why the code exists. But it makes for an almost invincible opponent - particularly when Dark Wispers is cast six times in a row. Check out the video to see how that pans out.
