Harmonix staffer outs Facebook, PSN, Xbox Live game
We're just dying to know what Rock Band and Dance Central developer Harmonix will do next, and now perhaps we do.
A Harmonix staffer's resume, dug up by the apparently less-retired Superannuation, makes mention of an "unannounced title (XBLA/PSN/Facebook)" alongside contributions to Rock Band 3.
Studio leaders have said several times that the developer is experimenting with multiple platforms and prototypes, and Harmonix seems pretty amused - or perhaps exasperated - by the excitement the possibility of a new announce has generated.
"As we've stated before, our studio is growing and hard at work on a variety of titles. In a storied Harmonix tradition, our designers start working on those games before they're publicly announced," Harmonix told Shack in a statement.
"We're excited to confirm more information soon, probably via a LinkedIn update or something - we haven't decided."
Harmonix's most recent release was Kinect title Dance Central 2, which along with Rock Band 3 continues to receive regular DLC.
Harmonix began life as an independent studio, during which time it developed the Guitar Hero series, before being snapped up by MTV Networks and moving on to Rock Band. In late 2010, Harmonix bought itself out and resumed business as an indie.
