Halo Xbox One concept art surfaces in wake of art director switcheroo
Halo's art director change has some fans worried, but so far its primary consequence is the release of this new piece of concept art for the upcoming Xbox One game.
In a post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries discussed recent changes to its team, including Tim Longo's assumption of creative director duties, Josh Holmes' sideways step into executive producer, former executive producer Kiki Wolfkill's as yet unannounced new role, and Kenneth Scott's decision to step down from the role of art director, allowing him to work remotely.
The core message of the piece is "business as usual", and was accompanied by this new piece of art. "An early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with," Holmes wrote, which is either Halo Xbox One or a deliberately misleading lie, in which case send wasps by express post.
The Xbox One Halo game is coming in 2014. No mention was made in 343 Industries' post of Halo lead writer Joe Staten's return to Microsoft.
