Developed by 343 Industries, The Master Chief Collection is a bundle of all the Halo games starring Master Chief. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 were all given the 1080p/ 60fps treatment. The star of the show however is Halo 2 Anniversary, which had all its cutscenes remade using modern-day CGI and motion capture. Halo 2 Anniversary also got a considerable graphical improvement and boosts the same 1080p/ 60fps setup.

For multiplayer, the whole package comes with over 100 maps. Specifically for Halo 2 Anniversary, there's going to be two playlists, one uses modern physics and the other uses classic physics.

In addition to the games, The Master Chief Collection comes with the Halo Channel - which is the new Halo: Waypoint, the Halo: Nightfall TV series, which bridges the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5, and an invitation to the Halo 5 mutliplayer beta in December.

The reviews below will mostly be about the singleplayer portion of the game, since the multiplayer portion has only been added recently. Expect some outlets to reserve full judgement until they've spent more time with it.

If we've missed a review, let us know in the comments below and we'll add it in a sec.

The Master Chief Collection is out November 11 in the US and the UK on Xbox One. The game is clocking in at just over 45GB, with a 15GB day-one patch. Both are available to pre-load now.
