Halo: Fireteam Raven is a New Arcade Halo Game Coming to Dave and Busters This Fall
Well this is a surprise.

Today during the third Inside Xbox show, 343 announced a new partnership with Raw Thrills on a new Dave and Busters arcade game called Halo: Fireteam Raven.
Set during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, the arcade experience developed in partnership with Halo stewards 343. Players will jump into a arcade pod which can fit four people. They will play as ODST soldiers fighting the Covenant alongside the Master Chief.
Similar to those immersive arcade games, players will interact with a large mounted turret gun while the action plays out on a 130-inch 4K screen experience. I'm sure you can name a couple other arcade rides that follow a similar mechanic. I think the last one I played was one for Jurassic Park, also at a Dave and Busters.
This is the first Halo game announcement since last year's Halo Wars 2 made in collaboration between 343 and Creative Assembly. There hasn't been a proper mainline Halo game since 2015's Halo 5: Guardians.
An arcade cabinet however is an unexpected venture for the Halo franchise, thought Raw Thrills has a history of porting console and PC games to an arcade format. The company recently released Injustice onto arcade cabinets.
Halo: Fireteam Raven will be available in Dave and Busters locations this fall. Meanwhile, we will hopefully see a proper Halo announcement at this year's E3. You can see our full E3 2018 guide for the complete schedule and coverage details.
