Halo 5 multiplayer progress reset bug believed resolved

Oh hey, did your Halo 5 multiplayer progress reset today? You're not alone.
A nasty Halo 5: Guardians issue has cropped up, with users reporting a total wipe on their multiplayer progress to date.
Responding to posts on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries said it is aware of the issue.
Players were directed to the developer's Halo Services Status thread, where an update issued shortly after the previous reply said 343 believes the issue is now resolved.
If your progress is still wiped, try restarting your console before reporting via Halo Waypoint. Good luck, Spartan!
