Halo 4 straps on its Spartan helmet, goes gold

Halo 4 is nearly ready. Amidst a busy day of coverage for the game, 343 Industries development exec Frank O'Connor told VG247 the title has gone gold.
Earlier today the Flood were confirmed for appearance in the game's multiplayer. Two new vehicles were also revealed alongside a a large set of screenshots.
