The Guinness World Record Gamer's Edition launches tomorrow, and to mark the occasion the publisher has broken the world record for the longest Guitar Hero marathon. It's the only Guitar Hero marathon ever, but still. You have to stick your leg in the sand somewhere.

Various celebrities played Guitar Hero before passing over to the public in a two-hour session of the game which is now classed as a world record. Journalist Luke Albiges also made the cut for "highest score" on Guitar Hero by achieving 444,862 points on the night.

Go and buy the book. It's the first one, so you can keep it to show your grandchildren.
