Guild Wars 2 - Fractals of the Mists update arrives next week

Fractals of the Mists is the latest update to Guild Wars 2, and features an endless dungeon experience which houses the Thaumanova Reactor and two other new Fractals mini-dungeons. Players will also participate in the final battle inside the Tower of Nightmares.

Here's a list of features:

Aetherblade Fractal: If getting one new Fractal of the Mists is good, then surely getting three new Fractals is even better. The infinite – and infinitely challenging – dungeon has been expanded with not only the Thaumanova Reactor Fractal, but also the Aetherblade Fractal and the Molten Furnace Fractal, giving brave heroes a chance to relive these momentous happenings from Tyria’s not-so-distant past.

Mai Trin Boss Fractal and Molten Boss Fractal: To make things even more exciting, two new special boss fractals have been added to the rotation. Be careful – you may find yourself pitted against the Aetherblade captain Mai Trin or the deadly Molten Alliance boss duo.

Fractal Tower: With great challenges come great chances for reward. The Fractals of the Mists’ rewards have been updated, including the addition of a chance at the brand-new infinite Fractal Tonic. Take a swig and see what you might turn into.

Fractal Improvements: Other updates to the Fractals of the Mists include a difficulty curve revamp, the addition of special Mistlock Instabilities to challenge those heroes daring enough to risk entering fractals with a high level of difficulty, a leaderboard to track the best and bravest among fractal frequenters, and changes to the way Agony Resistance works.

Fractals of the Mists launches November 26.
