Rockstar offers tips on scaling GTA Online creations to support 30 players
Rockstar has posted a tutorial of sorts on how to edit your GTA Online's creations to support up to 30 players.
According to the developer, when selecting Load Creation, users will be able to access any previously published Jobs and edit them in any way they wish.
Users can also increase the Maximum Players races through the Race Details menu.
Increasing the maximum number of players in Deathmatches and Capture Jobs will require the user to increase the number of Team Start Points and Spawn Points in the Placement menu for the Jobs to work.
Elsewhere in the Rockstar Newswire post, the development team also touches upon the need to create wider roads for Races, larger areas for Deathmatch and a greater choice for Capture Objects in Capture Jobs. Twice the number of Props can also be added to levels, even in mid-air.
Enlarging the area in creations will be a requirement if users want to accommodate the extra players so it is less crowded and still fun for users.
Rockstar said it's imperative to re-test the Job once any changes are in place, as the increased player count greatly affects the dynamic and feel of the Job, as some of the new features of the PS4 and Xbox One versions "may impact the experience in ways you hadn't imagined."
Balancing in Last Team Standing Jobs, selecting the number of rounds, Play Area Bounds and more on the LTS Update are also discussed.
There's plenty more through the link, and it's rather detailed, so creators should read the full thing.
