Rockstar is giving away $500,000 in in-game cash for playing GTA Online this month

GTA Online players will receive half a million dollars in in-game currency for logging in to the game anytime this May.

The requirements are dead easy to fulfill: Log into GTA Online sometime this month, then wait for the cash to be deposited into your Maze Bank account.

Play GTA Online throughout the month of May for a one-time gift of GTA$500,000.

The cash giveaway comes as part of this month's batch of discounts and rewards, revealed alongside 40 percent discounts on laser weapons, 40 percent off nightclubs, triple rewards on business battles, and double rewards on special cargo sell missions.

GTA Online players who connect their Twitch Prime account to Social Club will alo get a rebate on the Pixel Pete's Arcade base property and can purchase the Pfister 811 hyper-car for 80 percent off, and the Declasse Drift Yosemite pick-up truck for 60 percent this week. This is the second time that Rockstar has brought this deal to GTA Online this year - the developer introduced it for the first time in April.
