GTA 5 PS3 pre-load files leak, suggest its a 18 GB download
Grand Theft Auto 5 presumably became available for pre-load in some regions to users who pre-purchased the game through PSN in Europe. It didn't take long for some to start posting the files, which mainly consist of the game's soundtrack.
According to Rockstar Informer, the main theme of the game was posted online through YouTube, and was promptly taken down by Take-Two.
Over on Reddit, users have started compiling the entire soundtrack, which you can have a look at through the link if you like. We won't post it here.
The data files, as noted above, were reportedly being made available to PS3 users so the launch download won't take forever and a day. Those who play games on PC are used to such courtesies from developers, and this has also been the case with select games through PSN in the past as well - so it's nothing new. However, we don't have any confirmation of this.
If the game is indeed a 18GB download as shown on the GTAforums, then it's no wonder Rockstar made some of the files available early.
Anyway, if you want to be spoiled to the soundtrack, hit up the links and have a go.
Grand Theft Auto 5 hits PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 17 while GTA Online launches October 1.
