As modders now have the ability to bring in other maps into GTA 5, work on a Liberty City remake is under way.
The iconic setting of GTA 3 will soon be playable in GTA 5, thanks to the work done on a tool that helps bring custom maps into GTA 5. Other running projects include a Vice City remake.
