This is why the Duke O'Death isn't available in GTA Online

Some GTA 5 players are disappointed the Duke O'Death isn't available in GTA Online.
Trevor's brutal muscle car was one of a handful of treats (including a high-powered Railgun) featured in the PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA 5 only for players who upgraded from the last-gen versions of the game.
To keep the online game fair, those extras didn't make the jump to GTA Online for balancing issues.
"Balancing" is one way to put it. But just watch the Duke in action: it's completely overpowered.
It ploughs through traffic, tossing cars, buses and campers through the air. It turns citizens into strawberry jam.
