Grey Goo launch trailer leaves us with some doubts about the "bad guy"

Grey Goo is an RTS based on the science fiction concept of the same name, and in this launch trailer it's kind of hard to tell whether it's a good or a bad thing.
Listen carefully to the narration and the images that pair with it. Is the Grey Goo the ruthless species - or the humans, frequently depicted in (think Avatar) as grasping and expansionist?
Grey Goo is the result of a collaboration between Mytheon developer Petroglyph and the SFX team behind The Hobbit. It's coming to PC on January 23.
As a side note, I love that this is spelled with an "e". Take that, Americans who like to use "a" instead! Consider this pay back for Dishonored.
