Gravity Rush director hints at "secret" sequel

Gravity Rush, the gorgeous free-roaming offering which graced the Vita earlier this year, may already be in line for a sequel.

Gravity Rush scored a game of the year award at the Tokyo Game Show, which led to some slightly indiscreet Tweeting from director Keiichiro Toyama.

One contact congratulated Toyama on the game's success with the comment "looking forward to the sequel", according to Gematsu's translation.

"Thank you! I’ll do my best on the sequel," he replied.

Naturally fans were all over that, asking whether he could confirm that a sequel was in development.

"It's a secret," Toyama replied, which I'm creatively reading as "yes absolutely".

Gravity Rush released in June and has players manipulating gravity in a European-style city as they battle enemies.
